1. Download D3DX9_40.dll ----> HERE or HERE
2. Paste this file to your HoN folder
3. Done!
OR try download Microsoft directX HERE

Heroes of Newerth Error [ K2 - Fatal Error ]
I recently downloaded the Heroes of Newerth and wish to play, but then I got this message after opening it:
"K2-Fatal Error: Couldn't load vid_d3d9"
I thought my laptop so cokia......
